Your first counselling session gives you an opportunity to begin sharing your story, and discuss what you would like to gain out of counselling. You will also learn about confidentiality, and have any of your questions about the counselling process answered. It is normal to feel nervous in your first session, but don’t worry, you’ll be supported through each step.

About Me
Beginning my career as a counsellor in 2003, I have worked for a number of community organisations including yourtown, The Benevolent Society, and YFS Ltd. I have also completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology, a Graduate Diploma of Counselling & a Master of Counselling. In addition, & most importantly, I am a hubbie & dad to 5 amazing kids, aged 9 through to 17yrs old.
We all struggle from time to time. It’s a normal part of being a human. We can either try to hide these struggles from others, or find someone we trust to walk the journey with us.
That’s what I do. I’m here to walk alongside you as you face your issues, grow as a person, and come out the other side better off.
This is your invitation. If you're ready to face your struggles & become a better person for it, get in touch. I’m here for you.
Peter Wright.
